Fellow Colorado-Wyoming Association of Museums (CWAM) annual meeting attendees: Have we got a treat in store for you!
At this year’s event in Worland (May 1 – May 4), the Arapaho Ranch Field Station team will be setting up a one-of-a-kind interpretive exhibit, designed to resemble our C-store and packed with stories from the Field Station’s rich history.

Additionally, we’ll be sharing information about the benefits of agritourism and the many immersive, place-based experiences you can enjoy at the Field Station, including:
- In-person tours to see and learn about petroglyphs, including the palettes used to create them
- Exploring work we’ve done to preserve and maintain existing structures
- Opportunities for citizen science projects to collect data on soil, birds, etc.
As you put together your conference schedule, be sure to save time for Nolan Friday’s presentation.
One of our Arapaho Ranch Field station board members, Nolan grew up on the ranch and has a wonderful perspective to offer. You won’t want to miss it!
